Job Description / Responsibility:
To supervise day-to-day operation of the treasury back-office with a strong focus on local and global controls and compliance. The job also requires the incumbent to ensure that all processes and procedures adhere to regulatory framework and supports the business in enhancing profitability.
Ensure that the department adheres to the policies, standards and government regulations regarding Foreign exchange, money market and fixed income products.
Ensures that both internal and external clients are supported in timely and efficient manner.
Ensures that the department stays within the budget and delivers planned saves through process reengineering without compromising compliance and control.
Minimize operating losses through robust and error free processes.
Initiate and manage relevant system development project. Interact with technology partners to roll-out project within deadline.
Interact with regional and cluster teams on product, process enhancement and implement accordingly for the country after adequate testing.
Build partnership with Treasury ops counterpart in other countries in the region and share best practices in terms of processes and stay up-to- date in new regulations.
Supports business in implementing new products and ensure that the customer experience is positive.
Coordinate with diverse team to implement regional projects.
Maintain good relationship with business, seniors, technology and other partner units to fulfil business needs.
Constantly identify developmental needs of department's staff and fulfil through in-house, structured and HR initiated training programs.
Drive a well-motivated team to achieve organizational objective.
Reporting Line: Head of Operations & Technology
Job Nature: Full-time
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance/ Economics/ Business Administration or related field.
Additional Job Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of Treasury products and local regulatory framework is required
Sufficient experience in the bank preferably in similar roles
Experience of working in any project implementation team will be an advantage.
